Helen Qing Zhang is practicing Zhineng Qigong since 1989. In the period between 1993 – 2000 she lived in the Huaxia Centre which has been founded by Dr. Pang Ming. She participated in nearly all the courses which were offered in the Huaxia Centre:

- 1 month recovering training course
- 2 months recovering training course
- Improved class of recovering
- Three months instructor training course on Zhineng Qigong Science
- Improved class of instructor training course
- 2 years programme at the college of Qi Gong Science and Medicine
- 2 years advanced programme at the college of Zhineng Qigong Science

During her stay she taught in the Recovering Department and also gave Zhineng Qigong lessons to foreign students & she has ever translated for Dr.Pang.

Since she had left the Huaxia Centre she is teaching students from many countries such as Japan, Canada, America, France, Sweden, Italy, Mexico, Malaysia, U.K., Australia, N.Z. etc. Besides teaching Zhineng Qigong she is a Science teacher at the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission.

She is married to Karl Fu Chun Qiu and since April 2008 they are parents of Qing Ling - a healthy daughter.
